Today is a very awesome day too!

I found Evolution at 9am and told them that they were going to have their competition at 10am.
So, they went to the competition field on time and manage to run their robot wisely.
They scored a pretty marks for robot I think. :D

Unfortunately, I forgot to use a camera to take the photos with their robot!! >< Never mind, I think they would share it on Facebook. ^^

After supporting Evolution at 10am, I found my school team, Wissenschaft. I saw them playing around and keep giving out their cards. I think it was a fun day for them, wasn't it?

11a.m. Their robot performance competition start! Although their performance isn't very good, it's a nice try!

Then, we went for a lunch time. ^^

When we back to the multi-purpose hall(which we call MPH),
someone went to rest, someone read books, someone went for social!
Unfortunately, I had no photos at this moment. ><

Closing ceremony started.
Witrian and Eddy went on stage for the begin performance for FLL closing ceremony.




That's why our Witrian became famous. Right after his performance, someone found him to ask him to perform for them!



Witrian and Eddy were discussing with two girls who asked for their help.


The host sang and played guitar too!


After many teams' and our host's performance...


Someone gave a speech.^^

Then, it's time for giving prizes!

We are all very nervous for the results.
Best robot design? No.
.....
Best research? Team no40, Wissenschaft!
Team members were quite down actually, that's why they remained silent when they heard the result.
I was quite disappointed too.


As you guys can see, they were just smiling...

I heard that every team could only have one prize. So, when I heard this result, I thought Evolution may get the best project award.....

However......

Host: Team 40 again!

I heard a loud joy from Wissenschaft team member, whereas I stunned there. It was unbelievable! What? Our team got two prizes in a row?!




Ok. This is what I called... Joy.

The Wissenschaft team became very happy and kept on taking photos then.


As a conclusion, we got best project award and research award.

However, I was still feeling nervous.
Why? I was wondering what was Evolution's prize?
Would it be championship award?

......




Guess it. ^^
Look at their joyful face. Hehe.
So, I guess you guys have known the result.
They got the 3rd place in the championship award!! :D

** So, I am thinking, wow, both team that link to me got a very outstanding result!



Bintulu Hawks got the second prize in the championship award.


And.. This is the champion!


Oh yes, he is absolutely friendly! :D


Then, wissenschaft also had a photo with the light warriors. ^^
Although the light warriors din get a prize, I think some of them really had a lot of fun! :D
Such as Eddy who performed with Witrian...

FLL Food Factor 2011 day 1

** Actually the official FLL day 1 is yesterday, 13/1/12. That day is for coach meeting and volunteer briefing. However, I just define today as the FLL day 1. ^^
This year, I am too old to participate the FLL competition, so I join the FLL volunteers team.
The volunteers from Hin Hua High School include

Today has been a tiring day for me and anyone else that involved in FLL I think. =D
Wai Fung, Felicia, Chin Guan, Wei Loon and I start the day with the volunteer briefing today  to make sure everything go on well.
Oh ya, my job for this competition is to be a guardian of a team. Therefore, right after the briefing, I went to find the team that is in charged by me, which is the EVOLUTION.

The Evolution is come from SMK Bukit Jelutong and the team members are quite friendly. When I found them, they showed me their project and explain to me about it. Their project is about solving the problem of contaminated fish. ^^

Having a chance to interact with the team Evolution is my honor. They are great and they don't give up easily. They have a high team spirit and cooperate among each other.

Their first robot performance isn't good actually. I think it is because many changes need to be made when you are in the Taylor's robot field. Hmm.. I once participated in this competition and I know that the robot is really inconsistent. =D

Their project presentation style is by acting a drama. I prefer ppt presentation but I think they present quite well. Their idea is good and creative enough (for me).

I think their robot design amazed the judges too when they talk about the arm that used to push the thermometer. ^^

As what I said just now, they have a high team spirit. So, core values judging is definitely not a problem for them. And I think they have a lot of fun there.

Their second robot performance has improved a lot. They did well. Well done to them.

I shared my day with Wissenschaft too. I saw their robot performance on the spot.
For the first time, because of some rules problem, they have lost a lot marks and only get 101/400.
For the second time, many route got problem. They think that it's because their robot isn't fully charged. However, their marks improved to 105/400.

And, I went to support them when they had a call back for their robot design judging. They have improved a lot compared with last year. They did a great job although they didn't practice much.
Oh ya. Until now, I only know that DORA stands for Do, organize, repair, accomplish. (am I right?)  Not bad, guys!

Anyway, it's my day for volunteers. XP
I have walked around for social-ing and learn what other teams done. However, most of the teams are busying for their robots and don't talk with me much. ><
At the end of the day 1, the  Bintulu Hawks team also come to interact with us. I left my name on their hats. Haha.
Besides, we also helped the organizer to transport something to other place too! XD

I hope to know more persons tomorrow. =D

2012 开学前夕

2012终于降临了。
祝各位2012一切顺利。 =D

~~~~~

时间飞逝，我现在已是高三生了，内心渗杂着复杂的感受。




一方面期待我高三的生活：许许多多的比赛，丰富的知识，同伴的扶持……






一方面担忧我高三的生活：时间的安排，统考的压力，比赛的压力……



2011年10月，我烦恼着到底要不要在统考选考历史。
询问学长们，他们都给我信心，鼓励我去选考它。
理恩先生告诉了我：［信心，毅力，勇氣，天下間沒有做不到的事。］（请参看此状态）
于是，我决定要选考它。




2012年的今天，我知道高三生活满路荆棘，但看到许多位学长、学姐都已经成功披荆斩棘了，我相信，我也可以做到。

高三生活，多测验，多功课，多挑战，十分艰辛。

但，吃得苦中苦，方为人上人。

高三生活不仅仅要培养出统考中的状元，更要培养出能吃苦的人们。

以后的路或许会更艰辛，更苦，我相信，经历了高三生活，我将会有不同的体会。

总结2011

2011 是个多事之秋。

仅说全世界：
茉莉花革命，占领运动，日本核辐射危机，地震，火山，Osama之死……

再说马来西亚：
709黄潮，稀土事件， Interlock事件……

可是，我没那么伟大。我只写写自己生活琐事。 X=

2011年，对我来说是不同的一年，是堕落的一年，是学习的一年。

学长团篇


















-执委生活

今年的执委生活给我的是许许多多的压力，压得透不过气。
老师对自己的期许会更高，所以老师曾经召见我。
团内任何人对自己的期许也会更高，所以团长曾经召见我。
因为自己是执委，因此对自己的期许也更高了。
个人觉得自己并没做到很好，下半年比上半年略有进步。
上半年，忙着处理步操事物，却没什么突破。
下半年，训练A队参加四大团，很遗憾地，榜上无名。
或许是我尚未具备足够的能力？
执委生活，不容易过，还是让能者居之吧！
本人？退隐江湖……采菊东篱下，悠然见南山。



-组内生活

在组内我都扮演炒热气氛的那个角色。这……大概是受第十班的影响最深吧？哈。
今年上下半年都是第二组，组长都是渊翔，一切过得尚好……
组员们都很照顾我，都没有欺负我。 =X
当中，发生了一些小争执，但这些并不重要，重要的是，大家都留下了完美的回忆。 =D

-步操生活

新学长步操，是上半年最主要的活动。忙着构思训练方式，希望各位都可以学得更好，希望各位永记在心……训练了半年。其实，看着大家慢慢进步，确实有那么一点点的成就感。^^
步操特别队B队，主要也是在上半年训练的。老实说，我一直在思考，怎么样的训练方式，才最适合大家。今年给大家比较自主的训练方式，我想，效果真的不大。但，我真心希望大家能从中有所收获。明年就是A队了，好好加油！^^
步操特别队A队，你们成了“过时”A队了……哈哈。其实，这名字很难听。>< 叫……“退休”A队？还是“荣誉”A队比较好听。呵呵。曾经想把大家改组成花式队，但因为时间关系，只好作罢…… >< 不管怎样，往后，继续加油！ =D
步操特别队C队，对你们的印象很模糊。呵呵。和大家接触最多的，就是新学长步操了。哈哈哈。不管怎样，明年，好好加油！ =D

-训练营

班上篇。

今年，沉重的课业都压得各位透不过气。
SPM 与正课冲撞的压力很庞大。
班导师，林玉莲老师，总是苦口婆心地劝说大家要做好本分。
班长，蔡进祥总接受许许多多莫名地压力。
我想，不管怎样，我们还是一个班。 =D
班上活动如迎春晚会，相信大家都还记得？
学校今年有许多重大活动，如义卖会、运动会也让各位友谊增添了不少。
犹记得各位一起出外售票，
犹记得大家一起卖食物。
犹记得运动会，大家的欢呼声，
犹记得各位为花式步操积极备战……
最重要的活动，班旅，我没去，呵呵，没能和各位画上完美句点。
未来的日子，班上人马又再次微微更动了，往后日子，我们班会如何呢？
2012年，让我们共同为高三理爱创造奇迹！

学业篇。

今年学业异常繁忙。
SPM 两天晚上的补习让人觉得非常的累。
校内功课最多，占用了不少的时间。
想准备SPM，却往往因过于疲劳而不去准备。
呵呵。
是心态问题？
或许是吧？
所幸的是，SPM trial 我有去专心准备，再加上期末考后有短短的时间备考，算OK?><

不管怎样，因比赛使自己无暇兼顾自己的课业。
这个情况在上半年极为严重，后来终于调适过来了。
但，今年的学业还是退步了……继续努力。嗯……

比赛篇。
今年的比赛特别多。
我相信，高二的比赛最多？
首先，FLL。参与了Wissenschaft ，学到了不少robotics 之类的东西。

还有，全国独中科学营，Help math marathon， Sunway math Competition，OMK，AMC，UNSW，华文常识比赛，南洋商报常识比赛，华罗庚数学比赛……
嗯……因为这些比赛，我才深深体会到：人外有人，天外有天的道理。
别再像以前那样，真的是井底之蛙，要虚心学习，行事低调，发奋图强！

朋友篇。
今年因比赛和SPM的关系认识了不少的朋友。
朋友圈子扩大了，让我体会到不一样的人生。
只是……因朋友多了，才突显出知心而又真心的朋友少之又少……
不过，朋友们，我很高兴遇到大家！
希望大家再往后的日子里一起加油，祝福大家！

赠：天将降大任于是人也，必先苦其心志，俄其体肤，劳其筋骨，空乏其身，行弗乱其所为。所以动心仁性，增益其所不能。



往后的日子，或许会很苦，但吃得苦中苦，方为人上人！
